Are your apps based on 12-step programs?
Not really. We know that 12-step programs are valuable for many people and we have borrowed concepts from them (stinkin' thinkin' being one example). If you participate in a 12-step program for your negative habit, by all means, continue to do so. Our app can be an additional tool in your recovery journey. whether you are participating in a group or going solo. You can check the Resources section of our apps for support group links, including 12-step programs and other approaches. You can also form a group of your own by simply choosing a partner to work with or to be an "accountability partner."
